What a voice. Only 3 singers, IMO, do this song justice; Hank Patsy, and LeAnn.

I believe LeAnn did a wonderful job! Patsy Cline, also, did a magnificent job in singing this. Some people may believe that LeAnn did a better job than Patsy and vice versa. However, it is clear that Patsy covered this song back when there wasn't high-tech equipment and auto tune. Now, they use the autotune and advanced equipment. In conclusion, they both are wonderful singers and people, not to mention that Patsy was LeAnn's biggest role model in starting her career.

Awesome. LeAnn was only 12 or 13 years old when first I head her voice. My eyes were popping because her voice was so similar to Patsy's. Their sound is unique to each individual. I admire both talents as well as each woman. Patsy left us too soon. So thankful for LeAnn willing to share her gift.

It's a good cover of Patsy, but they're correct. You can tell she hasn't got the kind of ease singing this song that Patsy did, Patsy jumps an entire octave higher than LeAnn does in this one in the end with the high note.

She is singing the song HER way. Not trying to copy Cline or hit a higher note.

What a fabulous job LeAnn did on this Hank Williams song, I don't believe there is another singer that could have brought out the real magic of this song like LeAnn did. Over the years I've been to 12 of LeAnn's Concerts and have never been disappointed, her stage presence is wonderful and of course she has such a remarkable voice. Hope to be able to see her in Concert next year.

not that theres a wrong choice here but in my opinion you cant ever remake a song better than the original since its a remake its not better just different. might appeal to a larger croud or be liked by more, but that does not make it better. thats why i prefer the original, the late and the great hank singin it.

Nonsense! You might well prefer Hank's version, but that will be because you like Hank, not just because it's the original. There are lots of versions of songs that are better than the original. If the vocalist is a better singer, then the cover" is likely to be better. Lovesick Blues isna a Hank Williams original, but I bet it's your favourite version. Elvis' Blue Suede Shoes is better than Carl Perkins' original version. Frank Sinatra, and especially Ella Fitzgerald, recorded comparatively few "original" songs, yet made a vast number of classic recordings of other people's songs that are often hugely better than the originals. More recent still - many people would argue that Haley Reinhart's version of Creep with Postmodern Jukebox is better than the original Radiohead version. (I think it's far, far better).
