Real Estate are great but shoegazers they ain't. Check out the Bristol band Secret Shine, more or less contemporaries of Ride, for another fine example, if lesser known, of a shoegazer band. They also have a new record this year for fans of the genre (There Is Only Now) which is excellent.

Sounds like a B-side of their early works.
Nowhere was a summit. And Leave them all behind is still one of my ten favorite songs ever... We're far from it. :-(

Ride is one of my absolute favorite bands of all time. My jaw hit the floor when I first found out that they're releasing their 5th Studio Album "Weather Diaries" on June 16th, 2017 - over 21 years after their 4th Studio Album "Tarantula". Ride is criminally underrated and massively underappreciated. They have one of the most consistently stunning and impressive Discographies in the history of Rock 'N' Roll. Even all of their Rarities and B-Sides are masterpieces.

Riff is like House of Love

Sounds like a cross between material from Nowhere and Going Blank Again. No bad thing as those were by far and away their best 2 albums. Carnival of Light and Tarantula had their moments but their earlier stuff defined them.

Very good single, the new material sounds amazing live too! Ride always has been my favourite 'shoegaze' band. Great to see the lads touring and recording quality material. Brought a tear to my eye, I have to say :)
