Ricky Skaggs - Life's Too Long (To Live Like This) Lyrics
Drive time traffic in the pouring rain six car pileup in the passing lane
Can't help thinking while I shake my fist life's too long to live like this
Mailbox filling up with bills to pay bossman hanging on my back all day
Gonna work me to the bone I guess life's too long to live like this
Come here baby give your man a hug
Let 'em roll we ain't got much to lose
But these stay-put stay-home way too alone blues
Ain't no future in this TV guide ain't no reason we should stay inside
Someone's having all the fun we miss life's too long to live like this
Come here baby give your man a hug...
Life's too long yeah life's too long
Come here baby give your man a kiss
Life's too long to live like this
Life's too long yeah life's too long...
Life's too long yeah life's too long...

Ricky Skaggs Life's Too Long (To Live Like This) Comments
this song went to #37 on the country charts in 1991!!!
Love this song and Brent Mason does a very good job on the guitar. I have this album on tape.
Ricky would only hit #37 with this on 10-26-91.
So? You can enjoy it, anyway. And the country music field was loaded with talent and great music, all through the 90's. Lots of talented singers struggled to get airplay, back then.
Very good song Jack thank you.
@Pete Marshall you're very welcome Pete, thank you for listening
Kedves Jack!
Tetszett a videó film. Fantasztikus volt a művész és a zene. Csodálatos a dal.
Köszönöm ezt a szép élményt, Klára Szépvölgyi
@Károlyné Szépvölgyi you're very welcome Clare, glad you enjoyed it
