Ricky Nelson - When Your Lover Has Gone Lyrics
When you're alone, who cares for starlit skies
When you're alone, the magic moonlight dies
At break of dawn, there is no sunrise
When your lover has gone
What lonely hours, with memories lingering
Like faded flowers, life can't mean anything
When your lover has gone
What lonely hours the evening shadows bring
What lonely hours, with memories lingering
Like faded flowers, life can't mean anything
When your lover has gone
When your lover has gone

Ricky Nelson When Your Lover Has Gone Comments
Did not know Rick sang these songs. Straight from Ozzie and Harriet's era. Thanks for posting.
Ricky should not play the sax. Otherwise, they got the swing. ;)
Nice rendition of this song. Back-up musicians are great. Great low note at the end. Ozzie was right to guide Ricky's career, having him singing a mix of songs.
What a great rendition. Rick had so much talent and it's a shame that he did not receive the recognition he so richly deserved. Miss you Rick!
Love this version.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for posting this cool song-and its fun to watch Ricky so enjoying singing it too.
