Ricky Nelson will be remembered as a cool guy😎. His music was melting the girls back in the young day's. He's traveled on to a better place now. RIP Mr Ricky Nelson.

He was never given the credit he deserved for his music. A lot of that was because he was so good looking. Unlike women, being a really good looking man can be a disadvantage.
But the biggest factor in him having a rough and short life was that his wife Kris (sadly), was absolutely nuts.

Mike Nesmith says he says his was first, and Ozzie says this was first I think if we look at the date, this one came out first, and Mike's was second. You were such a good singer. The song was first offered to my idol sam cooke but at the time sam had just released chain gang and was promoting that song and sam turned it down. Actually as the story goes it was in the garbage can in Sam's office and ricky's manager saw it and asked if he could have it and the rest is history
