Jet Harris together with Hank B. were The Sadows matchless in their day and this song still is fresh and lean

I was just 16 when I bought this album, I still have , still play it, I'm now 70 ! Brings back so many good memories! Cliff and the Shadows were so good together, separated they each had their successes , in my mind they should have continued...!

The menacing bass of Jet Harris.

+Peter Richey jet was the only real rocker of this band.

This song is a much much underrated recording by Cliff. A very "Mod" sound to it. Brilliant !

hm....iTs a classic british R`n R number and i think the Rockers has loooove it ! :-)

Incomparable. The Shadows STILL sound as good live as on record. They could sing well too (many vocals on record) but Cliff's voice is the icing on the cake. Jet's driving base has never been equalled by any band then or since.

This sound is iconic and makes me glad I was around to appreciate these geniuses!

Me and my Shadows album just phenomenal, this is just one of several awesome songs.

Great sound from the 60's with one of the best bands... Remember some songs of Alvin Lee & Ten Years After. Magnific song!

I remember all the girls going Nuts over this Guy when I toured the netherlands in 1962

Hearing this track reminds me just how good they were. Also you can hear the Scotty Moore influence in Hanks early guitar playing before developing his own style.

The gang were just great back then,it was all to change when Tony and Jet laft,

Grifiki, it's from a great album called "Me and my Shadows" not "Me and my Drifters"!!

But this was "The Drifters". Not the Shadows..

This was one of by biggies, when I was stationed out in Kenya 1959.

Have to admit I've never heard this one before...but I'm glad I checked it out...great great track...people in the States may know Cliff, but not as much the early sides with the Shadows...nice montage of pics too...thanks for posting

This track wouldn't have been out of place on Led Zep's first album.

Have this on 7" 45rpm "Me and My Shadows" extended play disc. It was common then to split 33rpm Long Players into 7" discs usually with four songs on each, so you could basically buy the LP in instalments!

As soon as possible i got clever boys to put thru Uni so need the cash!
