My neighbor and I always had a thing for each other. finally, there was a moment where we were both single and we spent the whole summer together, smashin every night, pancakes in the morning, smokin in the afternoon.
We went on a kayak trip to an island a while out from my local beach. A storm came and we got trapped on the island till 11pm, had search helicopters looking for us and everything since we had no phone service our parents thought we got swept away in the tide.
Blasting on the UE Boom was this song as we confessed our feelings for each other in wet and cold sheltering under a tree waiting for the weather to die down so we could do our 2-hour paddle back to shore. we finally got home and the first thing we did before getting dry or warm or replying to the hundreds of messages on our phones was fuck in her car. a few weeks later she got a boyfriend and i haven't talked or seen her since she moved out of town and all.
I can still see her house from my bedroom window... often when i wake up i get a few seconds of excitement that i might look out and see her walking around her kitchen... damn man.. wonder what shes up to now.
