I can't understand why so many hate this record?

It's far too long in my opinion and a lot of the songs sound very similar. There are maybe seven I really like and a few others that would pad it out quite nicely but the second half to me is a real slog to listen to.

It's also overproduced to death, resulting in it sounding quite hollow and empty and sterile, again in my opinion. Some of the songs are great though and they sound much better live!

I love this song but still don’t know the meaning of it :/

It's set in a fictional city in the future and is about someone who possesses a drug made of light, called Electron Blue. I've never taken drugs, but am led to believe that 'tomorrow is gaining speed on you' is quite an excellent metaphor.
