I was coming from Mutemwa leprosy Centre where i had gone for a Youth Pilgrimage with other students and in the most perfect setting I came across Precious memories , it reminded me of that night i had spent in the presence of the Lord...How i didnt want to leave the sweetness of his company the foollowing morning ,Precious memories was indeed the song to keep my spirit alive after that experience

Remembering my loved ones who have passed away. I miss them, but in heaven they have it so much better than any of us here, I wouldn’t bring them back if I could. We will meet again someday! Praise God that he loved us so much he paid the price for our sins, that we can be reconciled to the Father and spend eternity it heaven!

These old gospel songs are near and dear to my Heart - in today's world I believe the churches caved to the desires of the younger generation. To me it started back in the late 1950's and early 1960's when churches started to tone down from the "ol tyme gospel songs that were good enough for Paul and Silas" Sure, many great songs over the years have come out honoring God but the fast hoochie coochie sounds and the loud drums are not for me (the words definitely honor God from some of those that I have been able to make out)..

Very Nice, but why didn't they record all the verses? Not even the best verses got recorded, only the first and the last, what a shame, it is wonderful, but could have been so much better.

We played this at my dearest mum's funeral almost three years ago now. I tell her I love her everyday, and know she had no choice but to shed her old tired and sick body so that her great big loving spirit can soar and be with all of our loved ones who have gone before. Dad has had to cope with losing his life partner after 62 years marriage, but our family's faith remains strong, knowing we will all be together again one day.
