This is such an underrated track and clip. I think it is one of the true formative moments for the band moving forward. The lyrics, the themes, the genre blending. No wasted time in this song. A mature piece that captures the period perfectly. Love it!

Where is Fish, the original drummer of this song? And is that sprayer on the left Angelo Moore? There's so much Fishbone in this song.

Pedroleum100 The Chilis and Fishbone are friends. I have a Peppers book (few, actually), and in one, it says that Anthony Kiedis and Angelo Moore were talking, and Angelo was telling Anthony that their two bands (along with Thelonious Monster) were the only real(pure, true, something like that) bands on the L.A. scene at the time. That may sound arrogant to some, but I don't believe so. He went on to explain his standpoint: The 3 bands were friends\fans of each other and their bands, they supported each other(moral support), they all flew the flag for old-school alternative(before it hit the mainstream)i.e. had their own individual sound and look, and therefore tried to copy nobody else's look or sound.

Takes me back to my freshman year. I've loved RHCP for 30 years, and now my 8 yr old son has the same love for them, and we're going together to see them in concert in January!!!! First RHCP concert for both of us. I've waited three decades for this moment and I'm so thankful to be sharing it with him.
