Red Hot Chili Peppers - One Hot Minute Lyrics
I was riding
Riding on my bike
Me with my friend
We're so alike
She said all we
Have is this
We just had to stop
And share a kiss
Am I all alone
One hot minute
And I'm in it come and get it [3 times]
I might waste it
Come and get it
Am I all alone
Sitting in the fire
Get along and have some fun
Floating to be higher
Maybe I'm your special one
Silent testifier
Breathe the moon
And eat the sun
Sitting in the fire
A tiny wink is all
All we have
No it's not much more
But don't get mad
Am I all alone
Close your eyes
And click your heels
Can you believe
How good it feels
Am I all alone
One hot minute
And I'm in it come and get it [3 times]
If I chase it I might waste it
Come and get it
Am I all alone
Three lbs. of love
Inside my skull
A million more lives
It's never dull
Just a few times spun
Spun around the sun
A couple more or less
And then we're done

This is my fav RHCP album. Whole thing is awesome...
That second last chord in that melancholy outro.....it hits deep
This album and coffee shop is how i discovered rhcp... 1989 birthdate
Masterpiece
This song alone is miles ahead of anything they produced after OHM.

That outro has the perfect vibe to smoke and chill to. I love it
i bought in cassette during my college years. the day it hit the store. i kinda like it at that moment. def. not BSSM it's different game actually. i remember only one friend of mine who actually really like this album. literally one. surprise me.
Better than all the pop commericals they did later
Jane’s Addiction was the perfect thing to mix with RHCP.
For me this is the best Red Hot album! Absolutely!
I love this intro. This thee intro of rock time . I don't mind the con... *Spits out. 'What??? Really meant them. There was a Sweden, one Philpinio, his mini twin, and s chec. Kid... My favorite album of them along with BSSM. I acknoledge rhere are 2 or 3 weak songs, i.e. walkabout where you can feel Navarro not beig comfortable at playing funky tunes. Anyway the important thing is half of the song are masterpieces.
I can't imagine burning at home a best of without putting "Warped", "Deep Kick" or "One Big Mob" on it. Those song where they gave Dave total freedom are also the best ones. Furthermore, Anthony's lyrics are brutally sincere when he talks about relapsing on heroin, the death of his friend River Phoenix [a river born to be a giver], his friendship with Flea or his loneliness.
I loved this album as much I hated CALIFORNICATION... I totally lost interest in them the first time i saw "Scar tissue" on Mtv... I yawned and went on with my life.
@ruf1980 good grief man u have to be the only human on the planet that hates Californication...thats my fave album from them next to By the Way and Stadium Arcadium. To each his own i suppose
Hated Californication. WTF!? Its unbelievable album. John Frusciante even said it was the best thing he's ever written, he was finally given the melodic freedom he always wanted. Jesus man.
Después del discazo "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", los Chili Peppers reclutan a Dave Navarro en reemplazo de John Frusciante y el resultado fue un sonido oscuro y agresivo y para muestra el opening song de este infravalorado álbum.
24 years ago today.
Best peppers tune blinding Guitar Work
I remember buying this album on release day and being the only person in the world who liked it.
I still think it's one of their best, and it's nice to see that there are a handful of fans who've either seen the light or recently discovered the album without prejudice.
Best outro ever.
Warped and Aeroplane are my 2 favs from One Hot Minute. If you like the Chili Peppers but don’t care for anything funk based, this song might just be one of several you’re looking for.
Although the way Mr. Anthony Kiedis sang the word “Descend” in the chorus on this song sounded more like he said “She said”.
very bluesy guitar riff... props to dave n
whenever I listen to this album and smoke, it's my birthday :`)
Such powa... that's Dave's touch!!!
Like being in a hurricane
2:33 - 3:05 I love that part, the guitar is amazing
79 narrow mindedness
This whole album is underrated- Everyone shit on it because John wasn’t in the band for this one but retrospectively, this is one of their heaviest, badass albums they have.
Also people forget that they went through guitarists on almost every album -- giving each album a different sound
I really enjoyed Dave's guitar playing in this album.
Exactly ! ! ! ! So great album !! !
@Dynamo If you think _By The Way_ is merely a "good" album, listen again...
OHM is just different, and I love it for what it is. When I want to listen to the RHCP, I won't put this album on, but when I want to listen to OHM, I'll put it on.
What a belter
I think the outro alone would be good as its own song
The outro is arguably the best part.
Very kool
You like that song, BunchaWords.
I think the fucking thoughts..
That song is about drug use. Great song. Way better than today's music.
Budokai 3 plains theme
One of the best songs that RHCP ever made.
Hey bud! You dropped this!
"Imo"
I don't know what it is exactly, but I'm getting strong Led Zeppelin vibes from this song. Maybe it's the driving guitar line.
It's definitely Navarro. Many Zeppelinesque moments on Ritual De Lo Habitual.
Their best song with Dave Navarro.
Their best song.
Dave Navarro did a great job doing his guitar work on the song.
Evan Zaremba he played on this whole album.
My favorite song from The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This song is about drug use. Great song.
That album came out in 1995. What is your favorite track from One Hot Minute, Viko?
You see, Vagaravn, both Pea and Aeroplane we're the only two from One Hot Minute thatwere performed live.
My favorite RHCP song with Dave Navarro.
My favorite Peppers song, too bad it's been forgotten
Both Flea and Chad Smith did a jam of the song during the band's Stadium Arcadium tour.
Yeah, but it's still fucking good.
Forgotten my the masses who don't count.
heavy ass shit that's for fuck sure
Accept my lawsuit, Atari!
Spankenhimer's Return I get the reference.
Damn it Yamamoto.
Right. Lets do it
Lil help understanding the reference??
Eric Hamill kenji yamamoto “composed” the music for various dragon ball z games, but was caught plagiarizing practically every single song. this song is the basis for the song from budokai 3 called “greatest tactics in the universe”
They might actually play this song now, I mean Frusciante is no longer with the band
Zach Ihle cause he has weak will power if Jonathan Davis from Korn can do daddy again this fuckin dude can do warped it's powerful as fuck and it's about the music a song won't make his ass relapse
Its easy to speak with no experience
Kevin Vigil It would remind him of those dark times though
Zach Ihle ...Errr...do u have any idea how many rhcp songs are about his usage/relapse? They wouldn't play ANY songs live if he refused to for that reason!
It would seem this comment hasn;'t aged well. ^_^
Underrated song
I always try so hard to give this album a chance but I just can’t. To each is own tho
Clint Eastwood underrated album
It's not underrated if you grew up with budokai
@Keiyon95 DBZ?
@Memous yes. If you listen to the plains theme you'll hear the riff is basically the same as the riff for this.
