It's been 20 years and since, have seen Maceo live twice and listened to every James Brown and P Funk album he is featured on. Such an awesome surprise to realize I was listening to him back in the day before i knew who he was. Sanborn huh? You suggest i give him a few listens? More into funk but don't mind some smoooooothhh stuff either!

Dude Mother's Milk is trash aside from pretty little ditty and maybe one more. I love the first 3 albums but BSSM is my favorite peppers album, everything after sounds like crap to me

This band, as I said before, makes good covers, if there are bands that are good, like The Meters, that make good songs, but Red Hot Chili Peppers turns them into magic, with their punk funk style, the truth is this song is very relaxing, what for The Meters was Africa, for them Hollywood haha

This one is imo the best of their first 3 trilogy. Just because the production serves a more licked sound and because they fly the funk ass train with some hardcore punk flavours in the back of the train
