Red City Radio - Spinning In Circles Is A Gateway Drug Lyrics

Oh country roads swerving
Singing along to the roustabouts
I'll never forget where I came from

Misdirected youth passionately devout
To the city I hold dearly but everyone talks shit about

And I hear talks about leaving. Me, I never wanted out
I'd rather stay and make something out of this town
We'll write our names in gasoline and burn them into the world
Never thinking about what we would become

We were young impressionable kids
Didn't know any better, didn't know any better than this
And our dreams they were our future
And as far as I can see
We'll be whatever we choose to be

We'll shake our fists at the morning sun singing "glory glory hallelujah!"
And I would give anything to feel the way I did back then

And I hear talks about leaving but I never wanted out
I'd rather stay and make something out of this town
We'll write our names in gasoline and burn them into the world
Never thinking about what we would become

We were young impressionable kids
Didn't know any better, didn't know any better than this
And our dreams they were our future
And as far as I can see
We'll be whatever we choose to be
We'll be whatever we choose to be

We were young impressionable kids
Didn't know any better, didn't know any better than this
And our dreams they were our future
And as far as I can see
We'll be whatever we choose to be
We'll be whatever we choose to be
We'll be whatever we choose to be

  12. J.... ....

    What a beautiful song.

  13. J.... ....

I hope this guy complaining about the song realizes that this song is about doing what you love, or what you want to do. Clearly he couldn't follow the story line, or the part of the song that says "We'll be whatever we choose to be." I don't think they'd want to be stuck in a dead end job, opposed to doing WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT STUPID MOTHERFUCKER BRUH

  14. R.... H....

@ wearethemany im with you mate, these guys and gaslight restore my faith in music. also check out the loved ones,

@SocialVirus92 Cool screen name. love it.

  30. d.... b....

the only popular okc places i didnt see are the conservatory and bricktown

  31. b.... ....

Good song, but kind of a dumb video. They all quit their jobs for no reason, just to get drunk and hang out with transvestites. Not my idea of a good time.
And if dude hates serving people drinks so much, why is he a bartender in the first place?
This is a prime example of why music videos shouldn't attempt to have storylines. It isn't Thriller, for Christ's sake.

  32. C.... W....
