Real Estate - Two Arrows Lyrics
Two flashlights out in the night will get you home
Walking under the night's punctured dome
I know I'm bound to leave this town
There's other there
Although I know we go out, know not where
The sky was wild with circumstance
The ground littered with chance
I'll meet you in the morning
Beyond that, I got no plans
Our fates move like two arrows
Through space and through time
Our lives, they form a black top
With two straight yellow lines
There is no hesitation
When I turn to look over the loan we've left behind
The sky was wild with circumstance
The ground littered with chance
I'll meet you in the morning
Beyond that, I got no plans
I know I'm bound to leave this town
There's other there
Although I know we go out, know not where

Real Estate Two Arrows Comments
I love this song. They remind me a lot of Ambulance Ltd here
314ak-500aw
Gotta admit, I kinda screamed inside when they pulled the ending from "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", you know that ending is way too heavy for me. And of course the next song is quite the polar opposing in terms of mood just like with "Here Comes the Sun".
fucking beautiful
Chapação total esse final
Reminds me of Love Tractor a lot. Killer album.
I fucking love that!!!!
My favourite part will always be 3:35
This is helping me go through depression.
5 people... Suck ass
Has a bit of a Deerhunter vibe.
Reminds me of The Shins and Built to Spill.
listen to this at 1.25x speed
Ryan Ramadhan up until the jam this is ok but once it gets instrumental way better at 1.0
Damn the one 👎... Youre horrible!!!!
.......my new favorite band
No words ohhh
3:35 is only magic... <3
One of the best jams i ever heard and they fucked up lol
This song could have easily fit on Teenage Fanclub's "Songs From Northern Britain" album.
How Byrds-y is this!? Awesome.
Exactly. This is a Gene Clark song for the Byrds, that forgot to turn up for Turn Turn Turn, or Fifth Dimension.
Real Estate are easy to diss, but they are also a terrific live band. Go see.
Isnt there a problem with the ending??
I think that actually is the final version, kinda disappointing...
Still a great song
Best long tail of a song since I want you (she's so heavy). And probably directly influenced by it, too, especially with the sudden silence.
Exactly. This song just screams The Beatles, particularly I want you (she's so heavy).
Actually, it reminded me more of the exit jam of "Sexy Sadie." After hearing two albums, this is the only Real Estate track I really like so far.
Beautiful song
My favorite song off the new album. Some of the other songs were a little bit disappointing.
I fully agree. The second part shows the new ideas and direction that Real Estate could take, it reminds me of Beach House and their Elegy to the Void in terms of structure. Interesting approach for sure. I also agree that few other songs failed to surprise, it felt as if they were stuck in between the older days (or Days?) and new direction.
agree, but in truth, they are generally a band who produce a handful of corkers, never felt the need to buy a whole album of theirs before...
@Dan Abrahams I think that's not true with their previous two albums. Most songs from them (if not all) are really good.
This song is sex.
