Is this track a reference to Radiohead? They have an album called "The Bends" and the intro sounds like something they would have made during that era

I was told to stay away from jazz as a kid so to me this stuff is not only sweet forbidden fruit but easy on the ears. I have Tinnitus and look for stuff I can listen to over and over and not get bored and these guys do a good job.

What kind of tasteless person tells someone to stay away from jazz and grooves, like why did you listen to that kind of a shithead?
