I saw Chris Rea and his band live in 1979 supporting Lindesfarne at St. Georges Hall Bradford. I had never heard of him. He sang this and I have never forgotten how much it touched me, especially when the guy played the accordian.After that of course, the rest is history. I hope Chris is keeping well, and I thank him for his fantastic music and lyrics.x
