Thank you Thank , Thank you!!!! I have been trying to get it again for years but it was never released as a CD. I had it on Cassette but wore it out and had it on LP but lost that and my record player in a fire years ago so it is like you are reuniting me with old friends. Thank you so Much for this! Do you also have his album "Me" , I am still missing 7 songs from that one. I can't imagine our tastes in music being too different so if there is anything you are looking for please send me a list and I will send you whatever you have on the list if I have it.

I have it but I have to find the CD that I have it burned on. I have just about everything Ray Stevens has recorded if you can tell my my channel I am one of his biggest fans, have been since I was 4 years old when the Comedy Video Classics VHS came out lol and I after I've collected everything he's did I found it amazing that he has recorded more of the serious songs than he has his comedy he said before he didn't want to be a comedian, just a singer, but when a comedy song was his first hit he decided to stick with both. I have never heard a Ray Stevens songs I didn't like!

That's you and me both buddy.... LOL . My first record by Ray was He Thinks He's Ray Stevens. The second was Even Stevens and I have been hooked ever since. I had the VHS too I think I was 13 when that came out LOL. Hard to believe it was so long ago.While everyone else was immersed in Metallica and Iron Maiden , I was jamming to "Misty" LOL.For at least 3 years any extra money I had as a teen 2went to Ray's records. I met him and he told me that he wished he had been better known for his serious stuff but he had too many good idea for the novelty songs to pass them over. I am not sure how to write to your channel directly but really the only songs I am missing are the records he did in the 1990's before anyone knew he had started his own label and from the classic stuff I need most of the album Me and from don't laugh now I only need This Old Piano to have all of the songs I really want and miss. Out of all of the albums prior to #1 with A Bullet, I had them all even the TV greatest hits record which was where I first got to hear him and know who he was. As far as "Me" goes I have the songs Yolanda, Love Will Beat Your Brains Out " and boy can I relate to that one LOL and "My Dad". Having never owned the album before I am unsure what the 7 songs I am missing are. I just wish he had released more over his career because although his work will stand alone forever I feel like he has a lot more that he could leave for us fans if the record companies had been smarter.
