They had something the other "Hair Bands" didn't. You felt it. Great White and early Def Leppard had it to. I myself don't know how to describe the "IT" they had. They were different.

Barry Douthitt thiey had a consistent melodic formula. A natural chimistry other bands didnt have. Once Robbin started to fade into the background, Warrens far bluesy leanings started to infuse their sound...still great stuff. A shame they couldnt get on with each other
