The song has haunted me since my teen years...

the radio kills groups by playing the same songs over and over and not discovering there whole album as a work of art but yes many over looked and under-appreciated

When this album first came out,I bought it. I thought this song was so beautiful back then, and still do. It does have a hypnotic feel, and combines the early jazz with the jet setting music that was prevalent, albeit, not mainstream in the 60's. My thoughts are, the Rascals had their roots in this style, and tapped into it to create this song.

very few of us in Germantown liked this band----this song made me love them, so I bought the "SEE" album just for this song "NUBIA" I play it often, still nowhere near tired of it since 1969.

I agree!. Such a great, moving, dynamic song! I believe that great music moves the human heart and maybe it can even move the hearts of those blinded by hatred and ignorance. If they played a lot of the uplifting rock and soul anthems that came out of the late sixties (such as those songs of the Rascals) in Egypt itself. Imagine that!!! Maybe it would transform societies across the middle east and other troubled parts of the world in a positive way! I would love to see that happen!!.

This would be perfect as a release now...considering everything going on in Egypt.

Wow, this so hypnotic and beautiful. Just discovered it. Better late than never! Don't know why this didn't get more airplay. Maybe it did somewhere but it never got played where I grew up. Probably was just too progressive for stations catering to only top ten hits. Such a shame.

This a beautiful!! What a difference from "Good Lovin" to this. I love the Rascals !
