man i wish they'd return to this kind of stuff - The Bends was so listenable - not saying the stuff they've done in the last decade and a half is necessarily bad, i just can't sit back and listen to it and really enjoy it the way i've done with The Bends a thousand times

Probably one of the most vocally demanding songs by Radiohead... That non-falsetto high B at 3:32 is pretty challenging, I doubt Thom can still do that.

He struggled to even do it then, there's no way he could do it now

belting is not good for the longevity of the voice, although it is very expressive.

This song was inspired by the Hungerford Massacre, it was written as a response to it, thus in respct of the victims and their families, Radiohead stopped playing the song in their live shows.

songs off the bends anyway and the song has dated- it just doesn't fit into their sets, it's of its time. Maybe it could work if they re-did the arrangement but other than that not really.

They still do play Fake Plastic Trees, Bends, Telex, and Street Spirit. Maybe the song is a bit tough for Thom to sing properly.
