Radiohead - Bloom Lyrics
Open your mouth wide
The universal sigh
And while the ocean blooms
It's what keeps me alive
So why does it still hurt?
I'm moving out of orbit
Turning in somersaults
A giant turtle's eyes
Jellyfish swim by

Please, please also upload Ocean Bloom, the collaboration with Hans Zimmer for Blue Planet!
I love how, from a chaos, you got something beautiful
Floored.
This is one of their very best.
Una de mis canciones favoritas ❤
pure musicianship
I'm so freaking stuck on this tune.
yo i mean.. tf this song so freakin underrated
For me it’s impressive how they can create those ambients in a live session, it really blows my mind, but it’s what I'm expecting to hear coming from those geniuses called Radiohead.
The last part is pure gold.
This is not a patch on Thom Yorke's solo version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdmL835q9To
A giant turtle's eyes
Discworld.
I travelled the oceans for 10 years on these big shells of steel , powered by massive engines. But there are times when we engineers come out from the bowels of the engine room after a watch to see the sunrise in the middle of the Atlantic , it's a feeling that's indescribable.
But when I hear 'Bloom' from Radiohead's album 'The king of Limbs' , the syncopated polyrhythmic drums, the blaring horns remind me of the hustle and chaos of the engine room, and Thom Yorkes expansive voice that reminds me of the ocean, it's like being back on board again.
This shit is close to inconceivable yo...
How the fuck do you play this song without messing up?
Magnifique.............
WHY did they remove the Live at Austin City Limits version???.??
Amazingly, beautiful piece of art..
I love bold guys
Such a beautiful song GOD DAMMIT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH <3 <3 <3
I have a feeling Thom had been listening to Nina Simone's version of "Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair" live at The Town Hall when this song was written. Compare the intros of each.
Underrated
This song just hit me really hard
Imagine filming a live performance like this with whip pans. Neat!

King of limbs from the basement is better than the studio version
so much better than the album version, wish this was on spotify
Best song ever
Those guys should start a band
Okay guys, I can see why people like the Basement version so much, but I definitely prefer the album version.
Victor why
2:31 what’s thaaaaaaaat
A Masterpiece...
They should make an album who agrees?
Unbelieveable 👍
Jonny is so perfect... Multitalented, handsome, humble... I wonder if he has any flaws? Maybe he scatters his socks about the house?
Sigur ros can suck it compared to this, damn...
This shit will attract aliens....stop!!
This song is home to one of my favourite Radiohead lyrics, I wonder if you could guess it?
Definition of a great rock song: a song you’ll love in such a way that you can make every sound of every instrument simply using your body. See Bloom and many other songs by Radiohead. …bemph-bemph.......bemph-bemph
Someone humouring my Radiohead obsession: So what's your top 10 favourite live Radiohead performances?
Me: yes
this video was uploaded 7 years ago, and yet here we are 🤣
best band in the world. seriously
Eargasm
I played the Bluray to my 4yo today, and he took out his toy trumpet to play along :)
This version of the song is absolutely fantastic. I wish they'd release KOL in live format.
i bet no one will able to cover this masterpiece lol
https://youtu.be/vHDayLZdPIY Yazz Ahmed did.
King of limbs an moon shaped pool suck. Radiohead is getting past their prime. Lost glory.
Oh, just give them time.
After quite a few listens, you will get it.
And when you do, you will feel Radiohead.
Radiohead it's that: The feeling of getting it.
So much better than the album
It sounds so chaotic yet it's so beautiful!!!
i wanna hate this song but i can't
Netflix
Absolutely genius
Esto es una locura
Radiohead & Revox
I like the King of limbs
it's a good album
2:58 💕
This is fucking brilliant
This crazy drum's catch me
This is not music, this is magic
Sometimes...for those that have been there...they have the energetic of rolling tantric mantras...and it just keeps rolling and rolling and fills my heart chakra with energy, while his voice slowly rises and falls over the top- in a similar way that ideas can roll up and fall away while meditating. Love their music
La wea buena
Masterpiece!
Change the name of this to the mermaid song and say I’m a mermaid in to deep blues come and find me over and over again and it would be a hit
Since Kid A, all their albums peak several years after you first listen to them.
Open your mouth wiiiiiiiiiiiiide
Absolutely splendid!
I have to admit something guys and gals... Ever since this album came out years ago, I put it to the side... I never appreciated it and I placed it at the very bottom of Radiohead's discography. I only ever liked a three tracks from it. Codex, Give up the Ghost and Seperator. Yet, now I see the error of My ways! This album is absolutely brilliant and it stands among their very best albums such as Ok Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows!!! I cannot understand nor will I ever as to why I did not fully enjoy this album. Now though, I can't think of anything much better after a long day then laying down with a good pair of headphones, starting this album and floating off into the ether of musical tranquillity... Perfection in music form! I was lost but now I'm found!! Love and Positive Energy always and keep on enjoying this amazing music We are so fortunate to have! Peace!
💪😍👌❤
this is just amazzzzingly magical in sync track ..a buzz watching them live
Masterpiece
TKOL is so underrated.
Love when Colin goes for an ol jump
Shivers
Had anyone mentioned how great the camera crew are. The way they frame each shot is impeccable.
captain beefheart is shook
this is 10 times better than spotify version
Each instrument playing a different song
COOL!
Pretty much what my brain is doing
There's something very Nina Simone about the way they performed this song.
I listened to the XMU program where Mr. Yorke was interviewed about his movie score on XMU live sessions. I was disappointed Mr Yorke said, "one person in the United States pulled out of the Paris accord." (The Parisians are rioting today on the gas tax hike that would've been the cornerstone of the Paris accord) Another detail about the "tax" is none of it would have been used to help anyone.
If Mr Yorke was informed about the Paris accord, he would know that it was a one sided deal that made the United States the biggest donor to the UN and the rest of the world had non binding CO2 ca deadlines. The UN would become a tax recipient and would have sole discretion on where the funds were spent. On top of that $15 trillion Ponzi Scheme, toxic pollutants that harm the environment were not part of any clean up or even considered. India and China would've received an exemption and they are the biggest pollutants of most of the raw sewage and toxic industrial waste on the planet.
I love Radiohead in fact it's my favorite band, I really appreciate how Thom flipped off the tge BDS bullies, but climate change tax scheme if a fraud. To explain this in perfect detail I linked this video:
Professor Ivar Giaever, the 1973 Nobel Prizewinner for Physics trashes the global warming/climate change/extreme weather pseudoscientific clap-trap and tells Obama he is "Dead Wrong".

Greatest song in the world.
Going from this to the studio version is like going from miss california to a detroit crack whore
Eh, its just okay. Just kidding, this is amazing!

Why are there two drummers
2:30 Johnny parece hecho con CGI
2:55 ...
When I was still working in London and doing 14-16hours a day 5 days a week as a chef, this was my morning waking up song as I was speed walking to catch the tube. Worked better than any energy drink I've ever tried.
Trumpet... it's just genius
Como que le copian las atmósferas a Miles Davis
I like this version more than the one from the album.
This is the most beautiful mess in music arrangement.
excellent
tutti batteristi pelati ahahha
To me, this and All I need are the best from the basement performances hands down.
