3 years next month since the most important woman in my world left me... This song hits me hard because i'm gay in the bible belt and so so many including my family don't accept it but my Mom didn't skip a beat when I told her. Of course she KNEW already and it wasn't a thing at all... 11 years ago when I introduced her to the man i'm spending my life with she ran up and hugged him and he was instantly part of her family! They got along famously and I LOVE that my 2 favorite people got to meet and be friends... Not having her here is so so hard but i've got the boyfriend who relies on me to be here for him- he has no one else in this world... I could never leave him. So I go on and just try to carry my Mom with me even though she's no longer with us. =(
