Wow! Never heard this song but I LIKE👍
I can't even come close to describing the power of this song. The all-encompassing relief, provision and need for this person he is addressing in the song in times of vulnerability in our humanity always makes me think of Jesus, and my relationship with him. The analogy of the rain as such relief it's me doubly hard since I live in the desert... Ironic, even unfortunate it was inexplicably juxtaposed to what looks like a picture of hell for this video.
I don't think there's anyone that could give it the sonic emotional power punch to the gut that Geoff Tate brings through those soaring vocals, and the very effective lower ranges in the other parts of the song. One of the best songs ever made!

All of their albums have been rock opera's ... which was quite an awakening when it came to listening to this band and each album. It was nights where lights were off, drink next to me, lying on my floor and listening to each one in its entirety. I learned much about them.
This was redemption. I had to give this multiple listens to figure it out but when I did? It truly has become that album that at least once a month gets the candles in the dark, the amps and everything fine tuned, the wine next to me and I lie on my floor, close my eyes and let it flow through and around me. I love this band.
