As a young drummer, I remember the first time I heard that hat pattern, my mind was blown. Such a creative and compelling groove. The first four albums, the first three especially; Scott's drumming was just incredible. One of my all time favorite and most influential drummers.

I'm a vocalist, Geoff Tate was my idol in the 80's! I dabbled with other instruments. As far as drummers go... Obviously The Professor, Rockenfield, & then Gill Moore

I've been debating what album is there best and after all these years I have to say RAGE FOR ORDER takes it.

Is this album possibly the greatest ever? If not its in the conversation.

Operation mindcrime and empire are better

I have to say Mindcrime... bcuz it's a compilation album... but after that RFO is definitely a strong 2nd!

This is without doubt QR's masterpiece, besides Mindcrime and my reason for it is this...
When this was released QR had changed their image and sound, introducing samples and keyboards and the UK press absolutely nailed them for it, but it was a brave move but a great one.
The UK press got it wrong - this is an absolute classic album and my favourite of them all.

I agree I was 16 and this was the highlight of that year by far.

Mindcrime is a masterpiece, This & The Warning were preludes. Still outstanding 🤟
