awesome
EXCELLENT <3
No way this exists..
Josh, just one question: when concerts in Russia? We 'r waiting for QoTSA in Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation!
This makes my ears bleed its bad karaoke territory
Terrible cover! No soul.
idiot. this is awesome
I wonder if rocketman would reference the last album revamp
Movies about singers rarely cover modern day, think of any movie based on a singer, it usually ends at the the height of their career. It's why Bohemian Rhapsody predictably ended with the live aid performance
One of my favorite Elton songs. Excited to here who was gonna do it for this album. So disappointed 😔. Sounds so terrible. Did they even try...
He doesn't have the pipes to pull this off.
The song kinda fits between I Appear Missing and ...Like Clockwork.
Rex Banner approves. Now, who's drinking beer in here? ARE YOU THE BEER BARON?! I BEEN LOOKING ALL OVA FO THAA MUHFUCKA!!!
It’s a nice tribute
Why is this so echoey
Covers up the poor vocal performance.
I love this song and I’m not even born yet!
Were you Unreborn Again?
Great cover!
I love you guys
He is a modern Bowie
They should’ve made Sara Bareilles do this instead 😂
Josh Homme and Elton John have recorded together.
@Daniel Killeen And Elton John loved it when Sara covered GYBR several years ago: "I've never heard someone sing one of my songs like that ever. You blew my mind with that version. It's a hard song." This was right before they sang her song "Gravity" live together for a charity concert.
I don't think her version needed to be on this record (they probably wanted to get something brand new for the project), but I do think Sara deserves so much praise for her cover.
Message to Mumford and Sons and Lady Gaga, This how you cover a song!!
Dick Grayson whoa Dick the whole album was dope lol I love this though
Josh Homme is a National treasure
International*
Love QOTSA but they played this far too close to the vest, I was waiting for it to kick in and unfortunately it never did
I think it's Ronson's production style. Listen to the live version, it's much more climactic.
Does Ronson dislike Jon Theodore? Like Villians, the drums sound awful
Villains was their weakest album in my opinion. Way overproduced. Josh should've just produced it like the previous albums.
the drums sounds just fine
Awesome
I am sooo glad you posted this!
This is great, but was it recorded in a bathtub?
if they recorded it at rancho de la luna there's a good chance
Sara Bareilles version should've been on this. 😍😍😍
tysan paaga fuck no
Uhm no. Squidward can't sing
It's OK, but it doesn't have that QOTSA charm that other covers done by them have.

Doesn’t have to be better than the originals. It’s just awesome to hear my favorite band cover another favorite.
Josh's vocals on the version sounds better than Elton's live versions to be honest.
Sad to think this guy wrote the three greatest rock albums of the 1990s. How far the mighty have fallen. This is just pathetic
co wrote, and his voice may be shot by Elton is a living legend
"Co-wrote" is applicable only to 'Blues For The Red Sun', which was pretty much him & Bjork splitting song-writing duties down the middle. However, 'Welcome To Sky Valley', and especially '...And The Circus Leaves Town' were pretty much all Homme.
@Generic Boner- Home doesn't give a shit what you think. Just because you don't like this cover song doesn't mean that he has "fallen." Don't be a drama queen.
Sounds a little like if Bowie covered this song.
Robert Shearer I've heard a vocal similarity between Bowie and Homme since Them Crooked Vultures. Check out the song Spinning in Daffodils- the resemblance is chilling.
Hehe "Hunky Dory"
I sincerely disagree!
Josh gone a little bit Bowie also on their last album :D
Dont love it, dont hate it either. Elton John should cover some QOTSA instead.
if only and lost art of keeping a secret would work
Well, he did play with them on "Fairweather Friends", I believe
Could you imagine John jamming out to No One Knows? Dave Grohl on the drums, that’s be so epic!
I like it
Oh God nooo
I love QOTSA but honestly the original was better IMO
joe lopez true I don’t like this too much
Covers aren't meant to out best originals. It's just a different outfit for a different occasion. Also we almost have the same name haha
Why – dear Jesus why? No one should have to suffer through this.
what do you mean this song sounds incredible
FOH. You can’t be serious. Trolling right
I mean it’s not my favorite, but I by no means, “suffered” through it.
Love qotsa
Truly amazing
Demonios!!! Esta genial!!!
Made my day. 💞
Dogshit. "Kiss The Bride" would have been the penultimate choice.
This would fit on Villains between Head Like A Haunted House and Un-Reborn Again. I love this
i saw them play it live, it was unexpected but fit perfectly
Pie4Pigs they played this before unreborn again at a live show once. And it did fit
If QOTSA did a full album of Elton John covers just on their own, I'd buy that the instant they released it.
