Queen - Lost Opportunity Lyrics

With the morning I face the sun
I lift my head and smile for everyone
Every afternoon you'll find me working on
I got my new shoes on
Got to be moving on
(That's what they say)
Every night I'm tossed
And I shake my fevered brow
Thinking of my lost opportunity

Yes every morning I face the sun
I get so positive with everyone
And every afternoon
you'll find the cracks showing through
They know what I'm going through
(Oh yes they do)
Every evening finds me
The optimist behind me
Gone with my lost opportunity

OH YEAH...queen AND the BLUES. I am completely happy, now...

THANKS Dave for all that you post. It's much appreciated by the fans.

  36. L.... C....

oh brian my honey curly boy!

  37. B.... R....

Ditto to that! C'mon Brian, Roger. Pleaaaaase? O:)

  38. A.... K....

One of the bluesiest things Queen has ever done. The 7" (regular and shaped PD) only has The Hitman as the b-side.

  39. F.... ....

I like it very much...brian is a great singer, and a great musician, he can play many styles.

  40. C.... ....

I agree, something like Springsteen's "Tracks" box set. That would be great!

  41. h.... ....

Even though I absolutly LOVE Queen and Brian´s solo work I think "Starfleet" kinda...well...sucks. :O

  42. E.... ....

damn it, they really should make a b-sides compilation. i'd buy it!

  43. O.... L....

I can't thank you enough for uploading all that you have, I'm still enjoying all the vids.
    queen forever. ^^

  44. M.... W....

It beats me why Mssrs May, Taylor and Deacon don't release these unreleased tracks on a 'Queen Unreleased' compilation. Every Queen fan would have one. Brian, Roger, John... you listening?!

  45. D.... R....

No, this was released on the I'm Going Slightly Mad 12" single in March '91.

  46. M.... B....

This was recorded after Freddie's death. Freddie isnt on the record at all.

    M.... B....

Not quite… this was the B-side to "I'm Going Slightly Mad", which was released 4 March 1991. Freddie was alive, just not a part of this recording.

  47. D.... R....

Yes, I was their triangle player :P

    No, I'm just a fan.

  48. G.... P....

Brian May....so cool and sophisticated...I love him...thanks for this song

  49. p.... ....

    I lllllike it

  50. C.... D....

Brian May can play the Blues! Queen could tear up some deep blues...I always wished they had done an all "BLues" album..all the different styles..nasty rocking-jump-swing-R&B-soul-acoustic..etc. It would have been a legendary album...oh, well, we have their music in all its forms at least!

  51. C.... B....

Well, not that im not enjoying this.. intelligent banter, but im enjoying this unsung gem ever more. Brian May = Genius !
