I like this version a lot more than the News Of The World version with Brian May. It's not that I don't think he sung and wrote that song phenomenally which he did, but it is because I think that this is Freddie's kind of song. Mellow and moving with his wonderful soft voice and having a greater and symbolic meaning. I know this song's about Brian May's cat but after Freddie's death, when you listen to this song you started to feel as if he already knew he was gonna die soon and by soon I mean 14 years later. It's like he is acknowledging the fact that in time death comes to everyone, even him. We don't believe he is dead and gone, we know he is dead but that he is never gone! This song is a perfect song for Freddie because it seems as though that he is officially coming to terms that in time, death does come to everyone and even when it comes to him only a little over a decade after he sung this, that he would always be "All Dead" but he would never be "All Gone".

the switches from freddie to brian remind me far too much of how they switch in "mother love" and i get Big Sad

My cat is nowhere to be found and its most likely she died because she knows the neighborhood so well. This song really does remind me of the times I would come crying and she would help me stay happy and calm. I would come back from school feeling terrible and sleep on the couch but after a few seconds, she would jump on my lap and comfort me. Never thought an animal could feel as much as a human, but she truly did feel with me.
Wherever you are dreamy, just know I love you and that this past year was amazing and without it wouldn't have been a memorable year.
