In another way, Scottish people, keep your qualities and your tradition of living and identity. Identity of a People is not a insult... I suppose by fascists they mean Trump. The real fascists are in the EU; unelected bureaucrats who make legislation and internationally redistribute wealth whilst providing British politicians with a lucrative EU pension so they'll campaign to remain. What really bothers me is the way the description says they're shown evocative imagery to challenge the monopoly on current and on-going issues when it's complete rubbish; Brexit and Trump are both avant-garde anti-establishment movements and most celebrities, politicians and musicians share the identical view that both are bad. Nothing in this video challenges any monopoly on current issues, it is part of the monopoly. Musically I think the song's brilliant though; I got to see them live not too long ago

As someone who has watched, listened and loved The Proclaimers since they started their musical journey, I find this video, Angry Cyclist, to be utterly demented and disturbing. I can’t even watch the entire video. As the brothers have ramped up their social messages via their songs through the years, it’s always been thought provoking. But for me, this is a bridge too far. I never would have expected this and certainly wish that they hadn’t gone this route. They could still have made a social statement with a compelling video, but this is awful. Next time guys, please consult with me first. I have your best interests at heart. Thank you.

If you don’t get the message and warning in this song, then I struggle to see how you have ever really got The Proclaimers.

All the songs by the proclaimers have a story to tell the listeners the way no other group has dome before each new single goes that one step better to reaching a world where fairness peace and welfare work for everyone in Scotland

I think that there are enough pop musicians with jingles, and easy to digest meaningless songs. I love this sound, and the lyrics really speak to some, like me!

idk idk ....First, why were you here if you don’t like the Proclaimers? You are right it doesn’t take guts to have a political stand, but it does take courage to stand for what you believe in and strength of mind to express values you believe in....they do it in such a poetic way. I enjoy their sound, some of their songs are very touching and poignant; some express their political values so beautifully. I admire them for taking a political stand for what they believe, they value their roots and their country. As far as Mr. Trump, you don’t know what you are talking about....he lies, he has no ability to express real values of the middle class and he has no clue that he has been manipulated in many ways. Changes he has supported will increase my taxes painfully and give huge breaks to the wealthy. Without out going into detail, believe me I am in a position to know. I love my country, I have given many years of service to my country....my parents fought for our american values. I think you and I agree on somethings, I believe what you say about European leadership....our american leadership is not much better than yours.

idk idk ....what you don’t see is that we cannot criticize our Leader, he diminishes people on Twitter when they criticize him and his comments are neither researched or well thought out. Such as his comment about Kavanaugh being found innocent, he was not found innocent....they just decided there was not enough evidence to make a call to indite him....not the same as being found innocent. If you work for our president and you publicly disagree with him you will suffer by losing your job....I know people who were fired by him who only got fired not for incompetence but because they did not agree with him and he cannot handle differing opinions - psychologically this means he is not secure enough to trust his own perceptions of issue when he eliminates those who do not agree, at least he does not kill the person only fires them....much different than other world leaders. I won’t go into detail, but my position could be eliminated if i disagreed with him....there are so many questions of ethics and moral values in this presidency.

I don’t hate him, I just don’t think he really knows what he is doing most of the time and his capacity for empathy is non-existent. He makes decisions based on trivia or conspiracy theory not on fact....his decision process is unorganized and childlike. He should surround himself with smart people and follow their call....he can’t even do that. I like to believe he is not a bad person, just not suited to leading a nation to the future....his efforts have isolated the US and taken our country back to the 1940’s......European and Eurasian leaders are using him because of these backwards solutions to problems that don’t exist.
