Prince never made any videos for any of the tracks on the Come album? This one was a single. He was never on MTV with this? Or was 1994 when MTV stopped playing music?

There are videos for a lot of the songs on "Come". Whether they ever played on MTV is a different matter.

In the early 90's, I heard this song playing in Tower Records and immediately bought the Come CD. This is the only good song on it. When it was time to let a huge chunk of my precious music collection go, this was in the first batch! Unlike Prince, I practiced what he preached. He was a grudge-holder and this album is the physical proof that he didn't let any emotional baggage go...until the last minute of his life. If you don't know what I mean, find out why he made this album, who is featured on it with him, and who received the financial proceeds. 😉

💜If he was a " grudge-holder" then why was he always giving people ( who didn't deserve it) a second chance? He needed to protect himself more.
When most high profile celebrities are betrayed by someone that they thought was their friend or a loved one they usually put a great deal of distance between them and themselves. You have to!!! If they lied about you to a tabloid, magazine or tell all book once...they usually will do it again. That's why the celebrity can't be around them anymore. Because they can say that's proof that what they're saying is true. Because the public foolishly believes that just because someone was in their life at some point, that the information they're giving must be true.
Prince was upset and deeply hurt when Vanity aka ( Denise Matthews) chose not to be in the movie Purple Rain. But they continue to talk to each other off and on until the day she died. They loved each other very much despite their past. She even said in her biography that Prince was the love of her life.
Madonna's brother wrote a tell-all book about his" relationship" with her. They haven't spoken since. If she did get in touch with him again he might write a second book. So it could be called a grudge...if that's the word you choose to use or it could be called being smart.
Once you've betrayed someone's trust they don't owe you anything. There's also the fact that maybe people just outgrow each other and move on and have their own lives. Just because you were friends or ex-employees from the past doesn't mean you're going to be in that person's life forever. Some people really need to just get a life.
But I do put this on Prince too. He seemed to always want to give a lot of people the benefit of the doubt. Even when they proved over and over again that they couldn't be trusted.💜🎸💜😉💜🎤💜
