Prince - Had U Lyrics

This is such a masterpiece on so many levels. Prince probably thought this was a throwaway song. I would kill to have a song like this in my catalogue. Short but sweet. Punch’s such a powerful punch. Would love to hear an extended cut.

Questlove made a comment a couple of years back that Prince could sneeze on a record and it would be brilliant! Questlove was right one minute and twenty six seconds of pure genius from the master himself! Absolutely brilliant! This album is Prince's underrated masterpiece! Love this album!

I’ve been telling people for years about how great and deeply creative “Chaos & Disorder” as an album really was. It’s no Purple Rain, Sign “O” The Times, Parade, Around The World In A Day, Batman, 1999, Emancipation or Musicology. But what it IS, is 1 of my most favorite top 5 Prince albums to this date. And coming from the Eightiesmusiqlover, that’s saying a lot!

I never really listen to this back in the day but he must of really been inlove with someone on this awesome strange track!He said she said she was disapointed.Wow wonder if she was meaning disappointed in his sexual activity or him as a person! Wow this shit is deep!

It's a double entendre. On the surface, it appears to be about a relationship with someone. Actually, as the last song on his last album with Warn-a-brother in 1996, right before he released his Emancipation album on his own label (with distribution by EMI), it was his last message to a long @$$ relationship using a very short song. A lot of songs we listen to have double meanings. Even old school songs of the 1970's and 1980's. You would be surprised what some were really about.
