Baker, The Pressman? Jay was there before Tim, and Brain is underrated, too.

You got me there. Both Brain and Jay are awesome drummers. However, I perceive that Tim has something uniquely Primusy. Love live them all.

Primus will go down in history as one of the most underrated and misunderstood bands of all time. Pure musical genius if you do not understand what music is all about you will never know what this band represents. I am sad to say I never appreciated these guys when I was younger and missed out on them in their hay day, I will never forgive myself.

"Primus sucks" is an ironic phrase Primus themselves adopted when they first started out. Every band and musician they circuited with became well aware of Primus' undisputed talent, to the point of awe and exasperation. Les would introduce the band on stage by saying, "We're Primus, and we suck." Perhaps he wanted to dodge all the hype, perhaps he wanted to rub it in that much more--I think both simultaneously.

Les said the new album will be more like Frizzle Fry. Man, I hope so! I love all the Primus albums for different reasons. But Frizzle Fry always seem to have a new sound. It lives in its own world.
