Primal Scream - Carry Me Home Lyrics
Carry me home to my mama
Carry me home to my daddy
Rain falling down on me
Wind is blowing cold
I'm getting tired, I guess I'll never grow old
Carry me home to my mama
Carry me home to my daddy
Don't wanna die, can't let this feeling go
I wanna live
Life is meant to live, I'm afraid to die
I wanna live, I'm scared to die

Who is Dixie
Narcos?
The record label? Probably.
One of the most underrated songs of the 90’s
So dark and beautiful.
song for lethal overdose
Primal Scream's most haunting, poignant, and spiritual song. An autumnal masterpiece.
Simply... perfect
I didn't realise that this was a Beach Boys song. But either way - it's a haunting song.
I'm confused. I took a look through your channel and I see that you have plenty of Beach Boys related stuff, which makes your comment rather baffling. When I read the comment, before looking through your channel, I figured you knew nothing about The Beach Boys or Dennis.
so so beautiful yet so heart breaking, one of their best!
Sad and beautiful.
This is just so gorgeous.
@mrjwpotter Song is credited to Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys and Greg Jackobson, on my bootleg. I believe it was recorded with the intnetion of being on the 1973 BB album Holland. It was rejected because of its morose subject matter. As I remember the story, the band was in Holland recording the album, and the idea was off a soldier dying in a ditch in WW2, and written as an anti- Vietnam war song.
who`dve thought something like this could`ve come from the drummer of the beach boys eh?
Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson is a pretty gnarly album
Dennis was a great songwriter. POB is the best solo album by a Beach Boy (1977)
