This AMAZING singer is from my home state not very far from me today! I was brought up on his music and every one hits some memory I have! Went to see him in concert one time... the best concert I ever went to! He makes me smile, laugh, cry, think and sing every word with him! Proud of this guy! I had these same emotions when I visited my home town in Northern Sri Lanka two years ago. His singing style is very much like that of the late Jim Reeves. Very earthy and sincere. In fact, I didn't know that they were friends back in the 50's-early 60's.

I went back home in May 2019 for my mother's ist memorial anniversary , no one seemed to even remember me now because all the people I knew when I was growing up are either gone to live in other areas and new people have . Most people just know the family
