When I first heard this song, It became my favorite. At 83, I sing this at jams, and when I say it was a Ray Price song, they have never heard. Of course all his songs are favorites.

Ray Price has been gone from us almost four years and I miss him as much as I did when he was with us. Every day I think of him and play his music .No one will ever replace him in my mind  . Ray Price was the Master of songs.

I don't think there are any that would even try, this is real old fashioned country music. The one's today are following the present style which is crap but they are making money.

  The last recording had to have been made for Janie. 

He had said he was doing the last CD for his fans.  And Janie also states in one of her first interviews after Ray died it was for his fans...........but the story changes now as she tries to ignore that Ray had a son.  Same old story when there is money involved.

I'm an 81 year old guy and I am playing all Rays songs some which I have never heard before,and tears are flowing from my eyes,what a beautiful voice.
No one will ever take his place in country music.

he certainly had a beautiful voice....I could listen to him all day long.....and when I do, tears come to my eyes too.There never will b e another one like him , that's for sure !!!  May God bless him and you, also.
