This was the last song my husband Don and I danced to at our wedding reception in 1971. This song brought back some very happy memories. Don passed away last April, 2017 at only 67 years old. I miss him more than I could ever have imagined. And yes.....I will always wear his ring.

How about those high notes!!!. Ray could sing all kinds of music at its best. He was a great innovator, performer, and also wrote a lot of songs in his early career. I saw him in 1975 come into a club and he used a local band. It was amazing how they meshed together. Ray jokingly said to them that he would hire them. He then performed night life and they were perfect together.
I'm a huge elvis fan but even I have to admit that Ray's version is more emotional- you should check out Englebert Humperdinck's version. the last not will give you goosies. Greetings.
I checked it out, but not being a huge Elvis fan, well I prefer Ray's version. Elvis' version was OK but it's just not what I like I guess. But wouldn't it be a boring world if all like the same thing? LOL.

Well, we all have our favorites, don't think I heard Elvis do this song, I'll have to check it out.
He has a real beautiful voice and did a great job on this song but I prefer Elvis' Presley version.
