It's abit odd that this song was on two albums in the same year. Born to Lose and Danny Boy. But I noticed the Danny Boy version has alot different sound or arrangement.Both are excellent and one of my favorite RP songs.Thx Ray!!

Ray lost a lot of his band and went on to replace them with more orchestra members with a lot more violins. That's why " Danny Boy " is so different.

Beautiful ! I heard Ray Charles sing this, both "Rays" are excellent ! 

It looks like we share some taste for the old singer's !!! I happen to like Buck Owen, Roy Clark, Eddie Arnold, and Cal Smith. Although I was born in Mexico I acquired the taste for country music right away.

You have very good taste in music ! I like all the singers you mentioned, and Elvis Presley & Waylon Jennings. I also love the Rolling Stones ! That's cool that you like country music - How about Marty Robbins ? Have a good week......:)

You know it's up to the older generation to make sure NO ONE forgets an artist like Ray Price. My poor grandboys, they have to listen to him when they come over to my house and we're working in the garage. They're 14 and 12 so no matter what, I know they won't forget the music. I can remember that Ray Price was always being played in my house as a kid and it never left me. When my husband passed away, Ray has been there to remind me it was all "For The Good Times."
