Even though this song is incredibly short, I get exactly what people are saying. I got it immediately as some form of a suicide letter..I cried so hard the first time I heard this song. My sister committed suicide around three years ago. These lyrics make it seem as if she's speaking to me through song...Something that I only experience with few songs. It's as if I'm experiencing her suicide all over again, yet I can't stop listening to it, because it just feels so much like it's her...It's a bittersweet kind of torture..

I think it's more her asking for a chance to redo the past. Taylor never wanted to be a child actor, she always wanted to do music and as a result she's said her childhood was rather lonely since she didn't have friends (lonely road lyric) and because of that, she resents her parents tot he point where she no longer speaks to them (I'm not coming home). this is a letter to her sister saying she wishes she could be there for her and for her sister not to cry when she misses her

when you listen to this short song, you notice the words more.
you want the song to continue, but just like life it has to end somewhere. i feel like this songs talks about a person talking to her old self, her 'sister', and maybe she made a wrong choice that made this song so short. maybe her life ended early than intended.

I find a deep meaning in this song. I perceive it as a girl talking to her former self. Trying to convince herself that she is now who she intended to be and is no longer acting like someone everyone else wants her to be. It's a sad departure of her old self (her 'sister'), and her new self. That's just how I take it.
