I like many Elvis fans didn't like that he was tied to the movie contract. However he always looked so fit and healthy while making them.

His movie career may have been a blessing to him because otherwise he wouldn't have sung songs like this that expanded his broader appeal. He had a lot of hits from his movie songs.

Before Charles blew up New York City in his movies.

Remember listening to this playing on cassette (recorded from record haha) while sitting on my dad's knee... while he was driving! Not safe at all lol, but it was the 70's, before seatbelts were law B-)

Kid Galahad, still one of my favorites. Play and listen to this song often. Great times in the early 60's.

This video remind me of my old radio, no.AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) and Elvis have to fiddle with the knob to lock in the station. But shouldn't he be fiddling the right knob? Maybe he got problem with audio level control fading in and fading out....Next time install a digital tuner for Elvis...

Not one of his most noteworthy songs, but IMO one of his best. Wonderful. Just wonderful.

Rather weird to see the usually dour Charles Bronson smiling benignly in the back seat when in reality it is well known he did not like Elvis at all much.Maybe it just shows what a good actor he was.This was one of the Kings best 60s films and I loved the soundtrack ep.Still do.

So gorgeous. For those who think Gig Young looks bored, he's supposed to look bored, annoyed even: it's his role in the film. Check out "Kid Galahand", it's a great film. Elvis delivers some good acting in it and Charles Bronson as always is fantastic.
