I was on my way to my lead guitar players house in August of 1977 to finalize a Paul Bunyon festival theme song I had written in Michigan when I heard he had died--holy crap! We ended up doing a 5 song Elvis medley as well in his honor..Long live the King...

Withhe, That is completely false. Elvis loved the Lord and often told concertgoers not to call him "the King" because there is only one King and that is Jesus Christ. He did not ever consider himself as God, this is so far from the Truth.
