Power Station, The - Scared Lyrics
Scared
You never said you'd love me like you do
You said you'd never hurt me like you do
You can't seem to decide
Scared
You say you're losing your identity
You say you've sacrificed your freedom to me
You won't commit to me
Till I submit to you
Scared
Sooner or later you will have to choose
I can't make up my mind
Where I will draw the line
Scared
She loves you she loves you not
She's only scared
Forget me forget me not
You're only scared

Power Station, The Scared Comments
Not a patch on the first album
This is one of my favorite tracks off Living in Fear. I love Robert Palmer's George Harrison impersonation in the verses (I'm not being sarcastic) transitioning into full-throated yell. @InfinityStation, maybe 11 years later The Power Station had new ideas! All four members wrote and arranged all the songs before producer Bernard Edwards took over on bass. This sounds like Andy Taylor layering guitar god parts and Tony Thompson smacking hard (and doing those beautiful continuous snare rolls at #1:03 and #2:32).
Warren cuccugayrullo sucks! Andy is a genious!
Amazing band. This album , many years after the first is still true Power Station but has a more organic feel. Even has an almost rootsy feel!
Why bother to call this Power Station? It doesn't sound like Power Station at all. It sounds like another Robert Palmer album.
