Portishead - Biscuit Lyrics
I'm lost, exposed
Stranger things will come your way
Its just I'm scared
Got hurt along time ago
I can't make myself heard no matter how hard I scream
Oh sensation
Sin, slave of sensation
Full fed yet I still hunger
Torn inside
Haunted I tell myself, yet I still wander
Down, inside, its tearing me apart
Oh sensation
Sin, slave of sensation
I'll never fall in love again
It's all over now
[Instrumental]
Oh sensation
Sin, slave of sensation
At last, relief
A mothers son has left me sheer
The shores I seek
Are crimson tastes divine
I can't make myself heard, no matter how hard I scream
Oh sensation
Sin slave of sensation
I'll never fall in love again
It's all over now

Portishead Biscuit Comments
90's electronica still best
Geoff has to be the best scratcher of all time
Portishead would fit right into a WoD game
I have a little tortoiseshell cat called Biscuit. Unlike me, she prefers Matt Monroe
@Happi Tate Biscuit loves to leap up at me - do you have cats that do that and do you understand why they want to leap up at you?
@Happi Tate Both Biscuit and Cheese (cheese is a light marmalade) were bottle fed. They're sisters. Funniest thing is when they're asleep you might see them "supping"
Delta Fox Not sure what you mean, I had one that used to love to leap up & sit on my shoulder if that’s what you meant. I bottle fed my 19yo, she was abandoned by her mum & I’ve had her since she was about 2-3 weeks old. Glad you found the wife, you sound a bit more like krampus than Santa there Delta. Lol
@Happi Tate - Yes exactly that; Biscuit loves to leap on me and sit on my shoulder for a while, she's about three years old now and loves "daddy" too much; I'm an alcoholic old b*stard - maybe one day I'll get a Reindeer. For now, Biscuit loves me very much, and I love her too.
@Happi Tate My birthday today, and I'm being bothered - have to go. Thanks for your attention, you're a wonderful person - take care and have a brilliant New Year - Lot's of Love :-)
Insane Love for this 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

When every listen only increases upon the first touch of it...
#audio delight bringing back the sensation
I hate everyone and listen to this track while chain smoking cigarettes.
Nine - Know Introduction (feat. King Just)
This is an amazing song in it’s own right but the use of that sample and the scratching is just pure genius.
My favorite song off my favorite trip hop album
That beat tho....
#Trip-hop - best subgenre ever created.
#Portishead - its masters.
#This sample: best ever.

truly unparalleled instrumentals
Portishead is such a dense soundtrack for daily life, I love to get lost in it
4:36 the outro is absolutely AMAAAZING
btw does anyone know if this track really samples/reworks only Johnie Ray's "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" (1959)? if so, that's just mindblowing stuff from P-head.

Amor! estas ahi??? estaba bromeando, lo siento mucho!!!!!
Sounds like a normal damn song sped up 1.25x. crazy good
Levitation Sensation
You're body moves.
Sitting still.
Gravity forfeits.
A sudden turn.
Float.
Still feeling the rush.
Blood.
The conciseness.
From the outside.
Sitting still.
Gravity forfeits.
Floating.
I kill the replay button xD
I used to blast this back in the day. No1 could quite get it though, my mum hated it, the girlfriend hated it, they said that it sounded like death music. It still didn't stop me from nodding my head to it with a screwface, like this shit is dope.
4.37 - ...

Thanks Silent Hill for getting me to discover this band. I think this is my favorite group ever.
I'll never fall in 💙 again...
🖤🕸️☄️
fuck this song is sex
the deck comes in with that never fall in love again vocal....genius, then scratches it in. Got me into producing beats over vintage drumloops did this tune.
That's one deep and meaningful Custard Cream!
1959 Johnnie Ray
Addictive.
Lo mejor de lo mejor
a mothers son has left me sheer....2018, still listening
Easily , ONE of my favorites by Portishead, and my favorite in this great album, if you haven’t heard it go ahead, the rest of the songs are equally great
Best Portishead song ever. I cannot say how much I've loved this song from the first time I've heard it.
the way that johnnie ray was scratched in this record is fucking dope!!!
love this shit
fuck off everyone
Esse som é do Caralho.
I fucking love trip hop.... People think grunge represented the 90s, but bands like Portishead and Sneaker Pimps are far superior
Lee Ernesto Boles DJ Shadow was a great from that time. Amon Tobin is awesome as well
I tried to click to "like" I found my self already clicked to it
Turn up 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Having sweet memories buried 20 yrs deep with this track.
Best track from the best '90's album everrr
When eating biscuits in a tea brake ☕🍵🍫🍪
Top trip
Definitely one of the best artists that sent shivers down my spine from when I first was turned on to Portishead and indeed, now. I love the spooky , eerie feeling of many songs I have always tripped on.
My teacher played this in class I lost my shit got happy then everyone said it was gothic bitch wtff😷
Aside from Glory Box
Brutal!
DJ DJ DJ DJ
No matter how hard I scream, "O! Sensation..."
Those lyrics stick with me for months after hearing this song.
Im lost, exposed !
Imho Dummy is their best all around album. It's up there with my favorites like Ænema from Tool, Mezzanine from Massive Attack, Vase[s] by former Potland OR group Dahlia & a number of others. I kinda have musical multiple personality disorder...
System of a Tool - I’ll have to check that out, ty!
my only argument would be that Lateralus is a better album than Ænema, but both are great albums.
You seem like the kind of people who know all about rock and roll.
@Mahuka I wouldn't say I know all about it but I definitely love music, especially Rock.
good taste is genreless
I've always thought that this song could do with being a little faster - so on speed 1.25, it's ideal.
The scratching with the "it's all over" sample at the end is just eargasm material.
iletelyastraightmate never heard this song before, listening at 1.25X. Thanks!
this was something i used to listen to all the time 10 years ago.. at this speed it sounds like something completely different and even better.. wow
Holy shit you are right
far out man...far out...
I'm sad I can't find a live version of good quality.
This is the best track off of one the best albums ever.
Can't beat 'Roads' in my opinion but very hard to pick the best from an album full of classics!
@Nic & Andrea Hills Would you happen to listen to Gucci Mane by any chance? His song "Lemonade" might be one to consider when surpassing this song
Yeah these guys literally created one of my favorite music genres. Dopamine dump every time I listen to this one.
@James Hutchinson what genre is this?
@Eric Pudalov True. Best album tho.
Awesome Johhny Ray sample
I'll never fall in loveeeee... again
It's over nooww
everything ends, in the end eventually. once something starts, it is destined to end. it can't go on forever. nothing does, thinking so, is as foolish as vanity. @jessie junior
“I’ll never falling off again”
BEST FUCKING SONG EVER FROM THEM....
mmmmm......Portishead
.......mmmmmm.....Happi Tate :)
