I've been a fan of PT since I was 5 or so. My mum played them to me for the first time in 2008 and I fell in love with Arriving Somewhere. I have been an avid fan for 11 years now and have physical copies of almost every album they've ever made. I even wrote to SW in primary school and get a reply back, which made my childhood. Basically what I am saying is that Porcupine Tree has been my life for most of it. Yet somehow, I had not only never heard of this song, but this whole B-side. This is beautiful and must be one of the most underrated PT songs of all time.

One of the best and underrated songs of PT! it is just amazing in its own way!

This song made that i bought wah wah. The sound of guitar in chours is amazing.

I'm not going to lie. I found this by accident while looking up the song from the Suicide Squad trailer.

Why was this not included on the album? Steven Wilson b-sides are better than most bands a material

+fooldeth Originally, Steven wanted to release UTDS as a double album, but the music that would eventually turn into Staircase Infinities wasn't done at the time of release. He (or the record label(?)) therefore decided to release the two seperately.


But regarding the quality of the song I agree with you. It truly is great.

it's a pity. it would have enhanced UTDS experience.
