I saw Porcupine Tree live twice. Amazing band live. I saw them in a small club which made even better. Porcupine Tree does have a live dvd called "Arriving Somewhere but not Here"

I saw them in Christiania Copenhagen 2003 :))

They were the first band I saw live! Unfortunately that also means that I barely remember it, and I had only heard Deadwing and Anesthetize at that point in my life.

I listen to anesthetize and absolutely loved it, so now I'm trying some of their others song. And I'm so pleased that I started with this song. Shame their not making new albums anymore.

Even less is now even more with this version. heh heh.

Personally, I don't really like the extra instrumental and the 'fuck you' part and the last minutes are just a repetition of the first half, no epic buildup or climax or anything. So the version on SD is a much stronger composition imo.

Why do more people listen to pop music (Rebeca Black, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, etc) and the "minority" listens to "prog rock" or other generes (it can be from jazz to blues, to post rock) its because its more complex music. It's something you enjoy like the cover of the album. Sitting down quietly, with your headphones or your sound system on, drifted away by the lyrics and the emotions each instruments give to you.

Some might and some might only arrive somewhere, but not here..
