I can tell the difference both I like both, but still I like whole different bands like let's say, Dragonforce, Rise against or Pillar. But I also like music like Donkeyboy - Cityboy. You can't just say who're good and who aren't it's all about what taste people got for music. Of course some music is just bad but then it probably wouldn't even be on youtube. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say :)

Idk about their old band or whatever but what I do know that if this is the first song you've ever heard by them it'd be amazing from a regular persons point of view. All the stuff you about how his voice was better before. Go listen to it instead. I'm not trying to be rude, I swear but it trips me out how people can say "Oh I don't like this! It's different from what I like." But you continue to go and listen again.

I stopped following pitchfork a long time ago

God, I'm loving Pop Etc

gotta say no matter what these guys do, i'm gonna support them. anyone who was around for TMB knows they don't HAVE TO make pop music. they chose to. and we know how talented they are already. so if i'm gonna listen to pop music, at least i know i'm not listening to manufactured disney channel graduates who grew up with silver spoons in their mouths and don't have a shred of depth or musicianship whatsoever.

Probably the best song from the mixtape. No autotune on the voice would make it even better. Same goes with all the other songs

This isn't too bad; however; this sounds all to electronic. "Promises" and "All Day Light" are better examples of pop songs from you guys!

It took me a while to get into big echo but once I got into it I really loved it. I actually like this sound even though it's so different for them... it takes a good ear to tell the difference between good pop and bad pop and this is definitely the good stuff. If you can't tell the difference between this and say, owl city, then I feel very very sorry for you~
