Because both The Weather and Tasmania were recorded and produced by Kevin at his studio in Perth. I do miss Pond producing their own. I love the two latest albums but I just hope their not going to go too far down that path and will get back to there roots. Pond (more or less Nick) is definitely in my top 5 favorite bands/musicians.

It actually ends perfectly for a transition into a really trippy song. The first track off Super Furry Animals Lovekraft would go perfectly with that giant *SPLASH!* in the begging. Anything with a loud ambient noise in the beginning would work.
They do sound like MGMT. Especially on the new album in places. In fact, they are going to be touring with MGMT. 2 awesome bands. Should be amazing.
