Poco - Just Call My Name Lyrics
Just call my name
Baby can't you see something's wrong?
Ain't it a shame
All those old time feeling's gone?
Right or wrong
How we just get ourselves so lost
in our lies
There's no time to cry.
You hold me near
I don't even need to be told
I feel your touch
And it brings a chill to my soul
Your love is cold
How do you live with all your secrets
How does it feel to live a life of disguise
Yoy know it ain't right?
Hey, it ain't right
I keep telling you
It ain't right
When you're teasing
There's a light
If you can reach it
It starts when you think it's the end
Just call my name
Baby can't you see what we've done?
You turn and hide
Don't you know that I want to run?
See the sun
We've tried so many times
You know that it's true
I'm asking what more do you want
Me to do
When it's all up to you
Hey, it ain't right
I keep telling you
It ain't right
When you're teasing
There's a light
If you can reach it
It starts when you think it's the end.

this is my all time favorite album. My mom got it when I was about 8 and I quickly took it over. listened to it faithfully throughout my life growing up. something about it just touched a part of my soul. I found the cd later in life and was thrilled. Now I listen to it on YouTube. My friends say they just don't get it, why I love it so much. idk... Just something special to me. my very favorite is Passing Through, but I love all the songs on the Poco 7 album.
Love this song one of those songs you find in a stack of LP's back in the days, One of those songs when you first hear Rock in your adolescent and makes an impression on you . This song was my gate way to rock (and a course ironically RUSH like everyone else.)
Sr. El Boogie Poco was and is one of my favorite bands from the 70's!
Painful memories...
Oh What A Rush?
