thetruckersrealm1 second agoFirst of all .. The Lord works thru others every moment of every day , Although what I am about to share is how the Lord touched me and made himself known to me. I was adopted into a jewish family 52 years ago , growing up I never fit in and had issues with the concept of God and this religious thing. I almost felt as if I didn't belong there and I couldn't or just wasn't ready to understand this thing about Jesus .( still not sure I do).. However , about a year ago I was in my truck (I will never forget this)  in Weatherford Oklahoma  at the truckstop, my life up to this point had been a mess. Feeling that something was wrong and the normal thoughts of uselessness and anger were ever present, I laid down in my sleeper after a long day and a lot of miles. All I can tell you is for some reason I had left my radio on todays top hits sort of channel... its almost funny , but I was sleeping and I heard this song, this lady was singing my deepest thoughts, my eyes opened ... I sat up in my bed and listened as she sang  and a tear fell from my eye, than two  .. I  knew  from deep inside of me that this song was expressing a messege to me .. I  tried to get this out of my head but it wasn't happening and  it seemed that I kept hearing the song, I would change the station to a rock station and low and behold the song came on yet again... I made a phone call to a friend  who is a Christian and explained this to him... He told me .. he didn't know what was going on ,But whatever it was the Good Lord was trying to make his presence known to me and wanted me to keep close to him... Now with that being said , I hung up and went about my normal routine ... one month later  I was diagonosed  with bladder cancer, 4 months after that I suffered a mojor heart attack in Santa Maria Ca.. I have been ok scince, up till the other day ... when out of the blue I hear this song again , kind of like  don't worry , I havnt gone anywhere I'm right here... and yes , I pray, I still have the fear that after the way my life has gone and the things ive done  will not fit the bill for jesus .. Than I hear this song again... so ... Lord.... Thankyou for your devine love .. and Plumb thankyou for allowing the good lord to use you to send a messege...

Jesus came for the whole world, no matter who you are, where you've been, what you feel, Jesus loves and wants you. Don't be afraid you aren't good enough! He isn't looking for someone already perfect...

I think it is following the lyrics. She will go to any lengths to make sure that her love is secure. She will be in pieces with him. If he is drowning, she will rescue him. She will bring him to safety. She will bring him back to God.

Actually, I know how you feel.
A few months ago, everyone in my social circle EXCEPT my co-workers ditched me en masse. I honestly thought a few times I was about to lose my marbles for real.
But, weird as it may sound, it helped a lot to tell God how I felt. I mean, I seriously ranted and cried and raged and walked the floor.

Dan Haseltine...such a good vocalist. She's not bad either. But he makes this song soooooooo much better! :0)

This is a great song; I really like this song too. I have heard the radio version and can't get enough of it either; it's more upbeat but still speaks to me about the love of God and of the love we should have for one another. When we feel lost or all alone God is there, we just need to cry out to him. He will not let us down; I feel that Tiffany is singing about God's love expressed by caring Christians reaching out to those who feel lost or hopeless.
