@Annalee Sellars WidowRose is right. I could not have said it any better. You don't have to put yourself in His presence. You are already there. Prayer is a very powerful thing. It is how we communicate with the one and only true God; a God so benevolent that He calls us His children. Any true parent will tell you that they are always observing their children, guiding them, and always there for them. Our Lord is no different and you cannot imagine how important you are to Him. In Hebrews 2:6-8, it is said, "What is mankind that You are mindful of them? What is man, that You would care for Him? You made them a little less than angels; you crowned them with glory and honor, and placed everything under their feet." WidowRose mentioned the "Footprints" poem, a beautiful manuscript which I, too, believe applies to you.

In fact, it's as easy as prayer, it's as easy as getting time to yourself, alone...quieting your mind, your spirit, and enter into His rest. When we pray, Annalee, we are essentially standing before God, our souls laid bare, our deepest desires and most desperate needs are there before His eyes...and oh how He longs to provide for you. OH how He longs to see your dreams come true, and to see you draw closer to Him, and to trust that He has everything well in hand.

To answer your question more adequately; I find alone time, I fetch my Bible, my iPod, a notebook and pen and I sit on the floor. I play my favorite praise & worship songs, to which I sing along. Singing worship songs is not only enriching, but they invite God's presence (the Holy Spirit) to dwell with us, no matter where we are. You don't have to wait until Sunday Church Services to be in the Presence of your Creator. Always remember, He's so eager, and SO ready and willing to sit right beside you as you read His Word, and seek Him in all you do, or endeavor to do. Keep a favorite praise song in your heart, sing it out loud :) before you know it, you'll feel a shift in the spaces around you; there will be a sense of calm, peace and awe all around you. Your spirit will rejoice, and your heart will dance and before you know it, you're laughing in the Spirit, and balling your eyes out (because being in God's Presence is just THAT GOOD).

My advice would be to pray for Peace in your spirit, because where there is doubt there is no peace, and where there is peace, there is no doubt.

Can u imagine the impact Christian men can have to look your wife in the eyes and say, "your beautiful, so beautiful, I can't speak or I cry".  If God can look at the mess that we are and say that, then there is no excuse for us to tell the gift we have been given, you are beautiful.

Thank you Syvette that is true, but the bible say's, "husband love your wives as Christ loved the church". The man is the head, so he is to be the example of Christ's love and demonstration of sacrificial love. Obviously both are in a bond of love, but the man has been given the responsibility and command to love with a sacrificial love. It was intended for a call out to man.

My apologies for posting an incomplete thought. What I was trying to impart was the impact this would have, not only on couples but on the world as a whole it if everyone (regardless of religion) turned to their partner. Such an outpouring of love I feel really would change the world.
