I shared this song with my girlfriend a few weeks ago because she returned from a Doctors Without Borders deployment and was looking for a new job either near her parents or near her sisters which are both far away from each other and me (she hates the area where we lived before her deployment). I wanted her to know that I would follow her wherever she went and find a new job once she knew where she was going. She accepted a new job just before Christmas. I was going to start my job search after New Year's. She broke up with me on December 26th, so I came back to this song again as the desperate plea it was written to be.

I always think about my brother listening to this song. I decided to leave my homecountry to learn English while he stayed home studying in the local university. He suffered while I was away, but he couldn’t tell me because he didn’t want me to be homesick and we didn’t spoke much as so I could focus on my new life. When he disappears, she falls, gets angry, becomes frustrated and upset, etc. the sudden shift in tone in the music is very fitting and sounds great in general. I felt like this part was very under looked, what are everybody else’s thoughts?

It’s a beautiful song that I felt because this is how I felt. I always felt like I had to leave in order to grow I always needed the space.
And the choreography was amazing the whole concept beautiful.
First he had left, then was in and out of the picture , which was beautifully translated through the dance scenes btw. But in the end the reality is she wasn’t there or was gone when he needed her there now and expected her to be. She finally grew and left
