Plant, Robert - Whiskey From The Glass Lyrics
Oh, take the whiskey from my glass and run
Yes, take the whiskey from my glass and run
Take the love from my heart - take it all now
You tear it up and tear it apart
Oh, take the whiskey from my glass and run
Oh, you broke my heart and gone
Yeah, you broke my heart and gone
You tore it up - you tore it down
Little bitty pieces on the ground
Yeah, broke my heart and run
Oh yeah
Oh, take this chain from my heart and run
Yes, take these chains from my heart and run
Take these chains from my heart - I can't explain
Oh, take the whiskey from my glass and run

Plant, Robert Whiskey From The Glass Comments
Whiskey From The Glass Is a Great Song By Jimmy Page And Robert Plant. It Is A Wonderful Masterpiece.
What bothers me the most about Plant songwriting is how he likes to simplify the drums down into boring loop-like patterns. If you listen to new Plant songs or how he plays old songs live you'll immediately pick up on that repetitive rhythm backing which I really have to attribute to Robert's sensibilities. I think he classifies it as tribal or ethnic or something but it sucks all the life out of the songs. Ironic considering Robert's love of Bonzo.
Plant’s voice in the 90’s = 💩
Who's picking the banjer here?
cool as a fuck!
the size of that guitar is just incredible
Raw and edgy. I like it!
Delicate Sound of Thunder, thank's so much for upload!!! Greetings, from Mica......
That`s Musical Genius.. ;0)
amazing song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! masters!!!
When i bought the cassete tape in '98 it had this song, it was a long tape.
yes pls
Awesome
I love this song! Perfect vehicle for Jimmy and Robert.
Amazing!
amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@rokarolla yes pls
@DelicateSoundOfThund I found one. It's called "Rude World" and it's pretty F@#$ing cool. I know it from the Rainer Patek tribute cassette, but I think it's also on the big Robert Plant comp from several year ago.
@DelicateSoundOfThund I have one song on a Rainer Patek Tribute cassette. it has this same kind of trance vibe, the guitar is murky but meaty. It's worth hearing and I'll dig it up if no one else does.
WOW!! Amazing song.
@DelicateSoundOfThund
Don't think so.
There's only a live performance of Walking into Clarksdale in a special Shining in the Light single.
There's also the songs featured on the No Quarter DVD, but not on the album .
And there's Domino, a song Page created to play with Plant, but they split before finishing it.
I think there are just these.
Matheus Quiossa Thank you for your list.
@mquiossa do you know, if there are more "hidden" songs from the page plant work, like window, or whiskey from the glass, or the shining in the light EP
Felix U. I think the only other thing was Rude World that got released on a compilation album for Rainer Ptasik(sp?) and was a very cool cover said song
@mquiossa i found it on amazon, a few years ago
@DelicateSoundOfThund
Tnx a lot, man. They're really good performances.
original No Quarter is better than1994 acoustic version.
But i don't think i can get you something you dont have. Their singles are really hard to find
@DelicateSoundOfThund
Do you have the SITL single?
Can you upload it? It's very hard to find.
@mquiossa from the page plant /zeppelin stuff, or all bands...?
my all time favs are pink floyd, led zeppelin, doors
but from page plant side i live to single shinning in the light, with the awesome live version of No Quarter and how many more times, awesome versions, i think, especially no quarter!!!!
@DelicateSoundOfThund
The Window is kinda too much monotone.
Seems like a DJ playing in place of Page & Plant. I really don't like it.
What more do you like?
@DelicateSoundOfThund
They should have put this one in place of When I Was a Child.
Guitar is insane here, but few people know this song exists!!!
I've been looking for this track for months.
I've found it some weeks before this upload
